A 10W wireless car charger that holds your phone and charges it without plugging in a cable each time you get in. Drop a compatible phone onto the pad and charging starts, so there is nothing to fumble with at the wheel. It has a single USB input for power from a car adapter, with an output current of 2A.

Works with phones that support wireless charging; check your phone, and the listing details for the mounting method and the cable or car adapter supplied.
Practical tip: fit the mount where you can see the screen at a glance without it blocking your view of the road, and set the route before you move off. It is illegal to hold a phone while driving, and 6 penalty points costs a new driver their licence. See our just passed checklist.
