Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostic scanner
Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostic scanner
Couldn't load pickup availability
A small Bluetooth OBD2 scanner that plugs into your car's diagnostic socket and sends live engine data and fault codes to a free app on your phone. When the engine management light comes on, you can read the code yourself in a couple of minutes, look up what it means, and decide whether it is a loose fuel cap or something that needs a garage.
- Operating voltage: 12V
- Operating current: 32mA
- Operating temperature: -40 to 80°C
- Size: 57 x 46.2 x 24.2mm
- Colour: black
- In the box: 1 scanner, boxed
Fitment: for vehicles with an OBD2 socket. Check the listing details for the app and phone platforms it supports before ordering; it does not work on every car.
Practical tip: note the fault code before you clear it, because clearing the light does not fix the fault and it will return. An engine light that stays on is a major defect at the MOT, so read the code a couple of weeks before the test and get the cause fixed in time. See our pre-MOT checklist.
