Check the listing details for the batteries it takes and the light modes. This is a warning light, not a replacement for a reflective warning triangle where one is required, and never place any warning device on a motorway.
Practical tip: on an ordinary road, place a warning device at least 45 metres behind the car on the same side of the road, and take great care putting it out and picking it up.
